Learning Support Update
Support for your family.
Parents and carers play a critical role in the education of their children.
Pope Francis has stated in his Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia, “School is not a substitute for parents but is complementary to them.”
In supporting and complementing the role of parents and carers to engage with their child’s education, and through the compilation of feedback, the Maitland Newcastle Catholic Schools Office and The Council of Catholic School Parents have the following resources available to provide guidance and support to parents and carers:
- Supporting Diverse Learning in Catholic Schools. A guide by parents for parents. https://ccsp.schoolzineplus.com/students-with-diverse-learning-needs
